A difficult start... (HDC Round 1)

Updated: Feb 7, 2021

On the 30th and 31st of March at the circuit of megara was held the first round for the Hellenic Drift Championship, with a quite not easy setup for most drivers as drift events are not hosted there often.

With a rising number of participants and in the street legal class, it is nice to see new people joining the lines, despite the problems that the Federation is having and the organisations struggle with motorsports.

Lets get to the good news, We are proud to announce that Marios Spanos 177 is joining us as a driver in the Clutchkick Motorsports, and hoping we will attend to almost all street legal class rounds this year.

It was a hard start, as the layout was new, and with minimum practise possible on this particular track and tarmac, after a few spin offs qualifying 11th with a 70 points given by all the judges at his 3rd try.

With a lot of people struggling on this track, after few rounds almost fully managed to learn and settle.

As a final verdict the event went not bad, big audience cheering and supporting their local heroes and friends also the new faces in street class, giving hope that things can be achieved and get better.
